October 11th Jacey and I will be going to Dewitt to attend the No More Sidelines mini golf adventure. We will be talking to some of the kids and some of the parents to see how and if No More Sidelines has affected their lives. We will be sure to bring a camera to take some videos and pictures with some of the kids. We will be updating our blog pages to inform you how it went.
This weekend, October 11th, Jacey and I visited No More Sidelines golf outing and our experience was so amazing.
Olivia: I really enjoyed this weekend because I got to help out at a great cause and along the way have some fun with the kids and teens there. Seeing the kids smiling and having so much fun was definitely the best part of my day. There was such a variety of people all ranging from young to old which made me so happy that so many people came and supported such an amazing program. I hope that the kids learned some valuable things from us because I definitely learned a lesson about treasuring lifes special moments.
Jacey: This was only my second experience with No More Sidelines and it was completely eye opening. I didn't expect everyone to be so open and helpful with one another. These children have such a greater outlook on life and it is truly amazing to see them try new things and grow. The turn out was amazing, so many people came to support and help out the cause. They taught me so much in just a short period of time and I can't wait to go to more events and help spread the word.

We even took some "interviews" with some of the No More Sidelines kids. As you can see there was a lot of laughter and smiles in this video. The two kids we interviewed were active participants of No More Sidelines and come to most of the events year round. We asked some basic questions like," How was your day? What did you do" Did you have fun". This was a really fun part of our day because we really got to interact with the kids and see what they are truly like.
This video was just too cute not to publish, it shows how Jacey and Josey really connected and got to be friends even in one day. Also in the video Josey and Kirsten talked about how much fun they had in their day and even decided to be a little silly toward the end.
Here in the interview we did. We interviewed five golfers from Dewitt who all volunteered to come out Saturday and help the kids with the golf outing. It was really interesting to find out their main purpose for coming out and to see what they all enjoyed about the day and how they felt about coming out. We asked them how their day went and what their favorite part of the day was. The kids really enjoyed having them their because they were actually golfers who wanted to help them try and do their best. These young golfers did an amazing job working with kids. They clicked so well and I don't even think they realized how happy they made the kids.
