Welcome to our Purpose Page!
In our Careers class this year our teacher came up with this project called a 20% Project. Basically, we choose something we want to learn about or that we are interested in and do a project on it . My partner and I chose Autism Awareness, for us we both have a passion for students with special needs and just children in general. We hopefully will have a career dealing with either children or special needs kids. This project really hits home for both Jacey and I because we both are actively involved in the special needs community. We have such a deep passion for wanting others to become interested in special needs kids because they are such special gifts from God and deserve a chance to stand out and be proud of their differences. We really just want to show how little you can do but how much of an impact it can really make. For this project we will be discovering what it is really like to be Autistic and we will be using two special needs students in our project. In the picture above it shows the two boys we will be using mostly in our project whose names are Benjamin and Dalton. We will have two separate pages for both Dalton and Benjamin to show what this project is like for them and to also just show how they interact with others on a daily basis. On both of their pages we will be showing what kinds of stuff they like to do as hobbies and to show what they are like in a educational way.
